Ouro Preto Brazil is in the center of the gem stone producing area in the State of Minas Gerais

Chester wanted to buy Ruby some precious stones.

We shopped a jewelry store for mounted stones.  Gem stone dealers and workers chased us around vending unpolished stones.  We bought a few but the vendors insisted we buy more.  We got in our cars to move on and it seemed they might try to break the windows to get at us in their insistence.
