Oscar Niemeyer design much, this one at Liberty Square. He died in 2012 at the age of 104. He is famous internationally and specifically for his design of Church of Saint Francis of Assisi (Igreja de Sao Francisco de Assis - click the Wikipedia link) in the Belo Horizonte
